So, reality is hitting me hard. These past few days have all seemed like a dream; and very bittersweet. And the next small week or so is going to be wild. I worked tonight. I work tomorrow morning. I’m going to TRY to get to sleep early because I’m having to wake up around 4:00am Saturday to get ready for senior trip to Six Flags! It’s going to be so much fun. We won’t get back until around 3:30am Sunday. Then Sunday is Mother’s Day. My Family and I will be meeting my very first childhood bestfriend and her family in Arkansas to have dinner with before we all head out to my baccalaureate around 6:00pm or so. How exciting!
I graduate from high school in 7 days and only have 4 more days of school. Wow. I never ever thought these days would come.
I remember being younger; hoping, wishing and dreaming of what it’s like to be “old”. To wear lots of makeup, spend forever fixing my hair, wearing mature womanly clothing, dating, partying, getting a job, getting my drivers license, moving out of my parents’ home, going to prom..all that good jazz.
And now I’m here. I’ve done all of these things. Needless to say, time does go by entirely too fast.
You never really should take anything for granted. Love those around you. Do all the things YOU want to do. Don’t be afraid to meet new people. Take adventures. Take every single moment in.
Graduation is going to be quite emotional. I have attended good ole’ Spiro Schools my entire life. And so has the many people I will be graduating with. We’ve all been friends at some point. We’ve all had classes together. We’ve all watched each other grow. I believe graduation wouldn’t be so emotional for some people if they really don’t put any thought into it. But I,personally, think you should put A LOT of thought into it.
If there is one single thing that I could go back and do.. It would be to actually communicate more with the people I’m going to be graduating with. I just wish I REALLY truly knew them on a more personal level.

the most ironic thing that these people always fail to realize is that the lack of hospitality that they greet someone like me with is just very unchristian. and i think that is the biggest paradox of all.
